Background of Attorney

I am a Native New Yorker. As proud as I am of my 27 year legal career, I am even prouder of my service in the United States Marine Corp. My tours included The Gulf of Oman awaiting orders to go into Iran during the hostage crises; Tunisia when Qaddafi was threatening Americans and harboring terrorists. I was also deployed to various parts of Africa including Kenya. I also was sent to Spain, Italy, Greece, France, Turkey, as well as other places either for diplomatic or other reasons including Puerto Rico after several Navy personnel were killed by terrorists.

I have been on many desert type assignments including Golan Heights training with the Israeli Army, Tunisian army, and other security details. I was a Sergeant when I left active duty. I trained in amphibious warfare school, desert warfare, jungle warfare, infantry school.

Why Experience Is Essential To Choosing A Lawyer

Experience is not just a word in litigating these types of cases: You do not want to trust your child's future, your assets or your good name or liberty with an unseasoned attorney or by representing yourself.

I have a passion for helping people going through some of the toughest times in their lives.

Each client I represent has given me the ultimate compliment: they trust my ability to stay focused to their core goals and remain objective and keep them on point to their task of being successful. I take each clients’ situation seriously and do my best to obtain the most favorable outcome for every client.

- Law School Experience:

I had various internships during law school: I clerked for a Supreme Court Judge, interned with Southern District US Attorney Giuliani, twice interned with Department of Investigation, Inspector General Dept. of Consumer Affairs;

- Legal And Related Experience:

I worked as a paralegal at
Cravath Swan and Moore; I was a staff attorney at a private civil and criminal defense firm; I was a Legal Aid Senior Staff Attorney.

I have been in Private Practice in my own business since 1993.

- Litigation Experience:

I have successfully represented Fathers and Mothers in custody battles, child support and paternity cases, order of protection cases. I have successfully represented both sides in contested divorce litigation involving disputes with property, pensions, real estate, business or degrees acquired during the marriage.

I have successfully represented both sides in negotiating and settling both simple and complicated divorce and Family Court matters as well as representing parties in contract disputes.

I have defended clients in criminal proceedings including those accused of murder, rape, robbery, assault, gun possession, serious drug offenses, child abuse and less serious crimes like petty larceny, and drunk driving cases.
